Militants shelled JFO positions 37 times over past day

On September 13, militants launched 37 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas. As a result, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on its Facebook page.

The militants continued shelling of Ukrainian positions in Donbas, six times usingused heavy weapons. The attacks were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivskye, Luhanske, Troyitske, Verkhniotoretske, Avdyivka, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Berezove, Staragnativka, Hranitne, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedinske and Shiyrokyne.

«Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, the enemy fired at the JFO positions near settlements Chermalyk, Hnutovoe and Vodyane, using 82-mm mortars, as well as 120-mm mortars near Chermalyk and Krymske. Also during the past day in the vicinity of the settlements of the Krymske, Troyitske, Chermalyk and Hnutove, our [Ukrainian] fortified positions were fired from the armament of infantry fighting vehicles. Near Novotoshkivske and Hranitne enemy used anti-tank guided missiles,» - said in a statement.

As The Journalist reported earlier, militants used mortars, machine guns and grenade launchers in Donbas.
