In Russia, employees of Office of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FPS) of the Russian Federation in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District photographed Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov during his planned health examination and released a photo in network. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine insists on immediate admission of the Ukrainian consul and doctors to prisoner of Kremlin. About this informs Radio Svoboda.
Illegally sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, Oleg Sentsov starves for 139th day. According to the FPS, photograph was taken within planned health examination, for which Sentsov was brought from colony to city hospital of Labytnangi yesterday, September 28.
«According to FPSVN, taking into account results of examintaion, Sentsov’s treatment was corrected. What this means, Russian jailers did not specify», "the report says.
Earlier, Ukrainian ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that Sentsov’s health status in Russia was assessed as stable.
Commissioner for Human Rights of Verkhovna Rada Lyudmila Denisova received a written response on state of health of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov. A letter to ombudsman was sent by Mikhail Fedotov, head of Russian Presidential Council for Development of Civil Society and Human Rights. The letter notes that Sentsov’s health status is recognized as stable, according to the conclusions of the consultation of doctors at the Labytnangi city hospital, which was held on September 12.
As previously reported by The Journalist, Oleg Sentsov was taken from the colony to the hospital for additional research.
