5.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the northwest of Alaska, the press service of the US Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter was located 66 km south of the village of Kobuk (population 150 people). The center of aftershocks lies at a 19.7 km depth.

The information on injured or destructions was not received.

As The Journalist reported, 42 earthquakes occurred in Mexico in five hours.
