Residents of the city of Khmelnitsky owed more than UAH 618 million to LLC Khmelnitskgas zbut, Vsim.ua reports.
About 180,000 residents of the oblast center city have gas debts. In just three months of the heating season, debts reached UAH 315 million.
The main reason for non-payment is bills with huge sums come after the November increase in the price for blue fuel by 23%. As a result, consumers simply stopped paying bills.
