The United Kingdom has demonstrated a prototype of the new main battle tank, as the Focus magazine reported.
The British have developed the «Black Night» on the base of the Challenger 2 battle tank, created in 1994. It is supposed to create 400 «Black Night» tanks.
The new armored machine will have improved performance required for combat in night conditions, and will also have installed the active protection complex that can recognize and eliminate anti-tank missiles.
It is also reported that the new weapons for the upgraded battle tank is not planned to be develop.
