European Champion 2017 and World Champion 2018 in judo Daria Bilodid thanked everyone who helped her to climb to the top of the pedestal in Baku, informs xsport.ua.
«I’m glad that the Ukrainian flag is back on top. Today I became the world champion. I still cannot believe it. Many thanks to all those people, who supported me. I felt your it, I am very pleased, and without you I would not have succeeded. Thank you very much to my beloved parents and coaches who are always there, without them it could not happen».
Let us note that Bilodid has become the youngest world champion in history and the first Ukrainian woman who won the world championship.
