Ukrainian forward of the hockey club «Dnepr» and candidate for the junior national team of Ukraine Eduard Zhuk was killed at the age of 17, reports xsport.ua.
Incident occurred on July 22nd. According to the source, the young hockey player drowned in the river.
He was a pupil of the Donetsk hockey school.
In the last season of the Junior Hockey League, the 17-year-old striker became a silver medalist in the Kherson «Dnipro».
