Foreign investors lack of qualified workers in Ukraine

At the moment, the main complaint of foreign investors in Ukraine is a deficit of skilled workforce, – stated the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Maxim Nefedov at the presentation of the European Union’s External Investment Plan in Kiev.

«Previously, frequent complaint from investors was Value-added tax (VAT) refund. Thanks to the Minister of Finance, this is no longer a problem to them. For now more and more often investors say they need qualified people, specialists in certain industries and so on», – said Mr Nefedov.

Also, an important problem for private investors are the risks they take on, while working in Ukraine, reported UNIAN.

As «The Journalist» reported, a refrigerating plant in Cherkassy will launch in July 2018.
