On March 30, 2019, the first class train of the class “night express” No. 10/9 Kyiv – Mariupol set off for the first flight. According to press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, new train consists of 10 cars of various types: ST, coupe and reserved seats, a total of 354 seats.
“This is the fastest train on this route; it travels a distance of 2 hours faster than other trains. We were able to optimize the movement of train thanks to the improvement of the railway infrastructure and made its schedule so as not to interfere with the freight trains that follow to many enterprises in the region, ”said Yevhen Kravtsov, chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, who attended the launch ceremony.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that on Easter and the May holidays, Ukrzaliznytsia appointed additional trains.
