Milan and Stockholm submitted their applications to host the Winter Olympics 2026.
The representatives of Italy and Sweden submitted a proposal, where two cities are indicated. Milan filed a joint application with Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Stockholm claims to hold the competition with Åre.
It is also reported that the Italians are more supportive of the idea of the Games than the Swedes.
