The representative of the delegation of observers of the International Republican Institute (IRI), David Kramer, said during a briefing on April 22 that the presidential elections in Ukraine “closely reflected the will of the voter” and were held “exemplary”, Ukrinform reports.
“Although, any elections can be improved, including in our country [the United States], but yesterday everything went smoothly. It was a very competitive election; there were many candidates. High voters’ activity also was impressing,” said Kramer.
At the same time, Kramer noted that there were some minor violations, but everything came in peaceful manner, and this deserves respect.
As The Journalist reported, the Voters Committee stated that there were fewer more violations during the second round of elections than in the first round.
