The European Commission (EC) stated that Ukraine has entered Top three countries-suppliers of agricultural products to the European Union, Ukragroconsult informs.
According to the official EC report, Ukraine exported goods to the EU countries on total amount of EUR 5.9 billion from February 2018 to January 2019. China took a lower position – its deliveries to European countries was amounted to EUR 5.7 billion.
The first place took the United States – EUR 12.4 billion, the second place for Brazil – EUR 11.8 billion.
The increase in EU imports of agricultural products from Ukraine was EUR 89 million higher than the increase in European supplies to Ukraine.
At the same time Ukraine ranked 16th among the 20 main export directions of agricultural products from the EU.
As The Journalist reported, the Russian government has banned the export of oil products to Ukraine.
