The drill was conducted with the goal to enhance the effectiveness of JFO air defense system, improve practical skills and organizing air defense combat in the general air defense system, the press service of the Joint Force Operation reported.
“Divisions, batteries, and other air defense units of the Joint Forces’ operational-tactical groupings took part in the exercise. In order to maximally approximate drills to the combat ones, our military pilots acted as an enemy,” the JFO HQ reported.
The JFO HQ noted that the participants of the exercise coped with all the tasks perfectly, demonstrating a high willingness to maintain control over the airspace and to cover our infantry actions from enemy air strikes.
