On September 24, 2019, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official exchange rate to UAH 24.32 to dollar, which is 11 kopecks low compared to the previous banking day. This was reported on the regulator’s website.
The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar as of September 24 was set to UAH 2432.7195 to USD 100 (UAH -10.5423). At the same time, the dollar exchange rate for September 23 was UAH 2443.2618 to USD 100.
Thus, the dollar exchange rate on September 24 hits 3.5-year low and the minimum value this year. The previous minimum was updated on September 23 and was set to UAH 2443.2618 to USD 100. The dollar exchange rate was lower only 3.5 years ago (on January 17, 2016) and was set to UAH 2418.7399 to USD 100.
