The European Commission calls on the European Union member states to lift the border restrictions, imposed in connection with the spread of coronavirus, by the end of June. It was reported by BBC.
“We are coming very close to a situation where we should lift all the internal border restrictions and border checks,” EU Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson said.
According to her, a good date for this should be the end of June.
She also noted that the situation with coronavirus is improving rapidly, and some EU member states have already weakened border controls.
