The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world as of September 21, reached 31,237,539, up 250,073 on previous 24-hour period. At the same time, 965,065 people have died (+3,664 per day) and 22,829,678 people have been recovered (+242,630 than the day before), Worldometer reports.
The highest number of cases among 213 countries were recorded in the USA (more than 7 million of the total number of infected), India (more than 5 million patients), Brazil (more than 4 million) and Russia (more than 1 million infected).
In Europe, the leaders of the number of new coronavirus cases are France, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom and Ukraine. In the world anti-rating, Ukraine took 15th place.
The leaders of the regional anti-rating of the total number of detected infections are Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom, Ukraine occupied 7th position. In the corresponding world anti-rating, Ukraine is in 25th place.
Most of all new deaths from coronavirus over the past day were recorded in Mexico (235), followed by Bolivia (31 people) and Honduras (18 people).
