Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna has said that 8.4 million pensioners will receive increased pensions in May. This was reported by the Government portal.
To Lazebna, the Ukrainian government fulfills its obligations and strengthens social protection programs for the population despite quarantine.
“In May, 8.4 million pensions indexed by 11%. Also, the minimum pension to persons whose insurance experience is 30 years for women and 35 years for men has been increased up to UAH 2,100,” the report reads.
Lazebna stressed that the size of the pension will increase by UAH 260 in average.
