Amicable Agreement between Naftogaz, Gazprom: no return of confiscated assets to Russia

Yuriy Vitrenko, Executive Director of Naftogaz of Ukraine, said that the settlement agreement between Ukraine and the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom on the fine of the Antimonopoly Committee does not foresee the return of the assets seized from the Russian company.

“Gazprom refused this compensation. It agreed that the value of his assets seized in Ukraine will never be returned,” Vitrenko said.

According to the Executive Director of Naftogaz, the Antimonopoly Committee managed to confiscate all Gazprom’s assets in Ukraine amounting to millions of dollars, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
