Australian government will allocate USD 50 million to save and protect wildlife affected by large-scale wildfires. This was announced by the Minister of Environmental Protection of Australia Susan Ley in her Twitter.

The official noted that funds would be allocated to restore the affected animal populations, as well as to support the work of scientists.

“Today I have announced the allocation of USD 50 million as an emergency measure to restore and protect wildlife, as well as to support the work of scientists, ecologists and public organizations,” wrote Susan Ley.
