Average wage increased by 7.4% in Ukraine

In June 2020, the average nominal salary in Ukraine increased by 7.4% compared to the same period in 2019, according to the State Statistics Service.

In June 2020, the average nominal salary of a full-time enterprise employees, institutions and organizations amounted to UAH 11,579, which is 2.5 times higher than the minimum wage (UAH 4,723).

The highest average nominal wage of financial and insurance sector employees amounted to UAH 19,324 (6.7% more than in June 2019).

The second place took employees of the information and telecommunications industry (UAH 18,926, 7.5% more), followed by public administration and defense employees; compulsory social insurance (UAH 16,386, 8.4% more).

The lowest salaries are paid to workers of temporary accommodation and catering services (UAH 5,207, 24.3% less than in June 2019), real estate transactions (UAH 8,786, 1.4% less), healthcare and social assistance (UAH 8,841, 17.2% more).
