The French BlaBlaBus bus low-cost carrier (the daughter of the BlaBlaCar service) plans to enter the Ukrainian market. This was stated by one of the BlaBlaCar founders, Nicolas Brusson, the Center for Transport Strategies reports.

Brusson noted that the first BlaBlaBus bus route had been already launched in Germany.

“Germany should benefit from the entry of BlaBlaBus to its market, as the price competition will increase, and a choice for travelers will be opened up. We plan to connect 60 cities across Germany and Benelux [Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg – ed.] by our routes in the first year of operation. Then we will expand the BlaBlaBus coverage throughout Europe,” he said.

Brusson promised to concentrate efforts on developing a unified bus routes network and global carpooling.
