Boeing found foreign objects in fuel tanks of 737 Max aircraft

Another flaws were discovered in some Boeing 737 Max aircraft during the course of maintenance, BBC reports.

During the maintenance, foreign objects were found in the fuel tanks of aircraft that were stored in warehouses and waiting to be delivered to customers.

“During the maintenance of 737 Max aircraft, we’ve discovered the debris of a foreign object. This discovery led to an internal investigation and urgent action in our production process,” a company representative said.

Following this incident, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration announced that it has strengthened its oversight of the company.

The company said that this problem will not affect the commissioning of this aircraft model.
