Militants shelled Ukrainian army positions 18 times over past day

Over the past day, on August 29, militants shelled Ukrainian military positions 18 times in Donbas, one time using heavy weapons. There is no casualties among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.

«The Russian occupation forces launched 18 attacks on Ukrainian positions, one time ussing weapons, banned by Minsk agreements. The enemy opened aimed fire from a 82-mm mortar, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms … The Joint Forces have reported no casualties over the past,» – the report said.

Shooting was carried out in the areas of the settlements of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Svitlodarsk, Pivdenne, Novhorodske, Novomykhailivka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Talakivka, Lebedynske and Vodiane.
In the Horlivka sector militants used a mortar near the settlement Novhorodske.
As The Journalist reported earlier, at least 31 civilians died, another 137 were injured in Donbas over six months.
