Over the past day, May 15, illegal armed groups opened fire on Ukrainian positions in Donbass 42 times. No casualties are reported among the Ukrainian troops as a result of the accident. This was posted by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
The occupiers attacked the Ukrainian positions in the Lugansk and Donetsk sectors. Shellings were registered near the town of Zolote, Novozvanivka and Troyitsky (Luhansk region), the villages of Zalizne and Novhorodske, Butivka mine (Donetsk region).
Thanks to «active defense» the Ukrainian forces eliminated one militant, while three others were wounded.
As «The Journalist» previously reported, the newest command and control systems will be deployed in the Donbas during the Joint Force Operation.
