Over the past day, May 18 illegal armed forces fired on Ukrainian defenders positions 60 times in Donbas. Seven soldiers were wounded in the result of combat action. This was reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
«In the Lugansk region, occupies opened fire using mortars near the city of Troyitske. In the Donetsk region enemy was active near the villages of Svitlodarsk, Novoluhanske, Zaitseve, Avdiyivka, Opytne and Vodiane», – the message reported.
Seven Ukrainian servicemens were injured. Thanks to «active defense», the Ukrainian forces eliminated six militants, one was wounded.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, the newest command and control systems will be deployed in the Donbas during the Joint Force Operation.
