UK lawmakers have accused Facebook of violating data privacy and competition laws, CNN reported.
“The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee said in a report published Monday the results of the investigation of Disinformation and Fake News, which lasted more than a year."
The Committee believes that the company deliberately tried to mislead parliamentarians by providing “incomplete, crafty or misleading answers” to the committee members’ requests.
