Cabinet determines number of priority projects until 2030

The Cabinet of Ministers has identified 30 priority areas that will form the basis of Ukraine’s economic strategy until 2030. Among the areas presented are support for the financial sector, the digital economy, mineral resources, education. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal during the presentation of the vectors of economic development of Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports.

Denys Shmygal presented some of these vectors, in particular:

decrease in the share of the state in the economy, continuation of large and small privatization;

financial sector development (stock market, insurance market, pension reform);

reducing the regulatory burden on business (top 30 Doing Bussines);

significant growth in the volume and production of own minerals;

infrastructure development in the agricultural sector (merger, logistics, digitalization);

favorable tax and legal regime for IT;

strengthening trade diplomacy, promoting Ukrainian brands;

quality of life, creation of an economic basis for the development of education, medicine, culture and social services.

According to Shmygal, these are the starting positions of the strategy.
