CEC registered 892 majoritarian and lists of six political parties

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has registered 892 majoritarian candidates and lists of six political parties for the early parliament elections in Ukraine on July 21.

The CEC registered 127 self-nominated candidates running in single-member constituency, and 5 candidates nominated by the Internet Party of Ukraine, Cherkaschane and Volya political parties.

In addition, the CEC canceled the registration of one candidate due to his statement on non-participation in the elections.

As of June 20, some 892 people’s deputies candidates are registered in single-member constituency: 744 self-nominated candidates and 148 candidates, nominated by political parties.

The CEC also registered 182 people’s deputies candidates included in the electoral list of the Opposition Platform – For Life political party in the nationwide multi-member constituency.

In total, as of June 20, the CEC registered 1021 deputies candidates in the nationwide multi-member constituency.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s CEC registered 839 deputies candidates for early parliament elections in Ukraine.
