CEC: Zelensky leads with 73.23%, Poroshenko – 24.45%

The Central Election Commission processed 99.87% of the electronic protocols of the precinct election commissions on the voting results in the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine.

According to the CEC website, 73.23% of voters backed presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky, 24.45% voted for the current head of state, presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko.

In total 18,467,783 votes were counted, UNIAN reports.

As The Journalist reported, US observers recognized elections in Ukraine as exemplary in second round.
