In order for Kyiv to completely get rid of bus routes, the city authorities must purchase at least 100 new buses annually. This was stated Dmytro Davtyan, deputy chairman of Kyiv city state administration, during an interview DATA.UA.

“If we continue to go at such a pace and buy 100-150 buses a year, then in 3-4 years we will fully cope with this task,” said Davtyan.
According to him, this year Kyiv plans to purchase 129 units of new equipment through a loan from the European Investment Bank.
“This reform will depend primarily on the possibility of financing. This year we are planning to purchase 17 new trams, 112 buses (50 short and 62 long ones) at the expense of the European Investment Bank. Also this year we are planning to buy something with budget money, depending on what resources we have,” said the deputy chairman of the KSCA.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that in Kyiv will temporarily movement will be restricted on South and North bridges.
