«Chain» hunger strike – an action that Czech filmmakers have been conducting since August 21st in support of Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov. About this informs Radio Praha.
It is reported that one of initiators of hunger strike is 48-year-old documentary filmmaker Vit Janechek, author of more than 15 films. Details of the action of the filmmakers are not reported.
It is worth noting that Czech filmmakers have already appealed to the deputies of lower house of parliament and senators to speak in support of the director and to send a protest in connection with the Sentsov affair of the Russian authorities.
Earlier Journalist reported that a petition appeared on the website of the White House in support of Oleg Sentsov.
