Northern Chinese city of Tianjin has reported coronavirus in ice cream made by Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Co., Ltd. According to preliminary data, reported by the Xinhua news agency, raw materials for ice cream came from New Zealand and Ukraine.
New Zealand produced milk powder and Ukraine – whey powder. The warehouses of the goods produced by the company are sealed.
Samples sent on January 12 and 13 to the city’s disease prevention and control center tested positive for the coronavirus.
The authorities took measures to disinfect the environment, quarantined people who had close contact with this product.
