The Pentagon is ready to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine, in connection with great progress in key institutional reforms. This package is the second half of the USD 250 million in Ukraine Security Assistance, CNN reports.
To Pentagon, the Ukrainian government has made the necessary progress in key institutional reforms, thereby justifying the allocation of an additional USD 125 million for new military assistance.
The U.S. Department of Defense clarified that Ukraine has made progress in countering corruption, increasing transparency and boosting civilian oversight.
