The Social Insurance Fund has stated that the cost of living in Ukraine has increased since July 1, as well as the maximum amount of lump-sum benefits for those who will enjoy the right to social insurance benefits after July 1.
“The living wage for able-bodied citizens is now UAH 2,007, for disabled people it is UAH 1,564,” the report says.
In this regard, the maximum amount of lump-sum allowance has been increased for persons who will enjoy the right to insurance payments after July 1, namely:
an injured in an accident at work in accordance with the degree of loss of professional working ability – UAH 34,119;
the families in case of the victim’s death – UAH 200,700;
a dependent in case of the victim’s death – UAH 40,140.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s Parliament adopted draft state budget 2019. The minimum wage will be UAH 4,173.
