The head of the State Customs Service, Maksym Nefedov, said that the department completed the plan and transferred UAH 30 billion to the state budget in November.

“We fulfilled the plan for the last month and transferred UAH 30 billion to the budget in November,” Nefedov noted.

According to the head of the Customs Service, customs collected more payments amid decrease in imports, which indicates an effective fight against smuggling, UNIAN reports.

At the same time, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said that he expects results from Nefedov already this year.

The head of government stressed that the new customs will become an important element in the fight against corruption in the country.

“We really need this important result. Now the country is critically short of resources, and business lacks equal rules of the game. Therefore, I am asking or, if you will, order: do everything in your power to ensure the result already this year,” Honcharuk said.

As The Journalist reported, Honcharuk vows reshuffle in customs offices in all oblasts of Ukraine.
