The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Oleksandr Danyliuk, discussed with representatives of Canadian government organizations the modernization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The parties discussed the current situation in Ukraine, the prospects for bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation in the framework of the Defense Reform Advisory Board (DRAB) – a strategic level group, which includes representatives of the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Germany and Lithuania, in particular, in matters of modernization of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report stressed.
The DRAB representative Jill Sinclair expressed support for the Ukrainian authorities on their way in reforming the Ukrainian army and assured them of further cooperation with the DRAB under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
