Divisions of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) were switched to enhanced service mode in connection with the presidential elections, the first round of which will be held on March 31.
This is stated by the press service of the SES.
“In order to increase readiness of SES divisions to efficiently act in case of emergencies, as well as to organize activities to ensure fire and man-made safety at facilities involved in the presidential election, the authorities and forces of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were switched to enhanced service mode from March 25,” the statement said.
In addition, SES aviation is also ready to ensure emergency response.
As The Journalist reported, the National Police switched to enhanced service mode.
