“Ukrainian Institute of National Memory presents an interactive textbook“ Babi Yar: memory against the background of history. Guide for the teacher. It is part of a large project to restore and preserve the memory of Babi Yar, founded by Institute since 2016 in conjunction with Ukrainian Center for Holocaust History Studies, Public Committee to commemorate the memory of the victims of Babi Yar, Museum of History of Kyiv and many other participants, ”informs Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.

It is noted that with interactive tutorial, teachers and students will be able to Example materials exhibition and a documentary about the Babi Yar examine the problematic issues associated with memory of victims of Second World War. They will also help conduct interactive lessons, educational activities, explore characteristics of local history and memory of Second World War, develop critical thinking and interest in history, and encourage memory of victims of Holocaust and other victims of Nazi crimes of Second World War.
A group of highly qualified history teachers and methodologists throughout Ukraine worked on the methodical development of the textbook.
