The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) sharply raised the official dollar exchange rate on January 10, 2020. According to the website of the Ukrainian regulator, the value of the American currency today is set at UAH 24.11, which is UAH 0,28 higher compared to the previous banking day.
According to the NBU, the official hryvnia exchange rate to the dollar is set at UAH 24.1190 per dollar (+0.2845) as of January 10.
At the same time, the dollar exchange rate on January 9 was UAH 23.8345 per dollar. Prior to this, the last time the dollar was trading above the level of UAH 24.11 at the end of November 2019.
Expert: Forex exchange rate in Ukraine will return to UAH 24-25 per dollar in 2020.
