Donbas war: Militants use 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops

On June 24, the militants violated the ceasefire regime five times in Donbas. No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day, according to the press center of the JFO HQ.

In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group near Shyrokine the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns, easel anti-tank and automatic easel grenade launchers.

The militants also shelled Ukrainian fortified positions in vicinity of Starohnativka and Marjinka, using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group near Khutir Vilniy, the enemy fired rocket-propelled grenades of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms.
