On May 17, the militants violated the ceasefire regime eight times in Donbas. As a result of the enemy shelling, three Ukrainian servicemen were injured. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.
The enemy fired on the Ukrainian army positions from 82mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as from grenade launchers of various systems, UAVs, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group near Avdiivka, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions firing 24 shells from 82mm mortars, as well as from automatic easel grenade launchers and small arms.
Near the village of Vodiane, the enemy used UAVs to drop VOG-17 grenade, and fired at the defenders of Slavne and Nivelske from heavy machine guns and small arms. Near the village of Pisky, the occupiers fired at the JF positions from grenade launchers of various types and heavy machine guns.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, the militants violated the ceasefire near Novooleksandrivka using automatic easel grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
