The Russian-led militants violated the cease-fire regime 18 times in Donbas over the past day: as a result, two Ukrainian military were injured, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation said in an update on Facebook.
The source reports that the enemy six times used weapons banned by the Minsk agreements. Also, the enemy attacked Ukrainian army positions using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
The report notes that enemy shelled JFO positions near the settlements of Pisky, Novomykhailivka, Krasnohorivka, Mykolaivka, Novotroyitske, Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Pavlopil, Nivelske, Pischevyk, Shyrokine, Hranitne, Lebedynske and Mykolaivka.
In addition, the militants attacked the Pivdenne settlement and the Luhanske village.
“As a result of the shelling, two members of the Joint Forces were injured,” the statement said.
According to JFO intelligence, on May 1, five occupiers were killed, another two were wounded.
