DRAGON-19 largest military drills kick off in Poland

DRAGON-19 military drill involves 18,000 soldiers from twelve NATO member countries and 2,500 military vehicles.

DRAGON-19 drill, the largest one this year  began in Poland and will last 4 days. Maneuvers take place on the land and the sea, in the air and in the cyber space, Polskie Radio reported.

The key goal of the exercise is to check the compatibility of Polish forces with the Allied troops deployed in this country within strengthening of the NATO eastern flank.

The DRAGON-19 exercise also involves the 11th Lublin Armored Cavalry, which will be supported by military units from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Romania and Slovakia.
