During Independence Day in New York above 70 thousand fireworks were launched

On July 4, on the occasion of the 243th anniversary of the US independence the traditional Macy’s salute took place in New York. Ukrinform reports about it.

More than 70,000 salute rockets were launchedinthe sky, painting it in traditional red, white and blue colors.

In general, the action lasted for 25 minutes. Millions of spectators watched it along the East River embankment.
