Two solar power plants will be built in Rivne oblast

Two solar power plants will be build in the Rivne oblast. Such intentions are enshrined in the Memorandum signed by the Rivne Oblast State Administration and the Regional Development Agency with two investment companies, Uryadoviy Kurier reports.
“The solar cells are, unfortunately, a single phenomenon in the Rivne oblast so far. Although the prospects are incredible. Therefore, first of all, we will direct efforts to select the necessary territories for construction of solar power plants. They must have an appropriate purpose and electrical connections. We can already speak of at least two sites in the Dubenskiy and Dubrovitskiy raions. However, we turned to our united communities, which, obviously, are also interested in such promising investments,” said the Deputy Head of the Rivne Oblast State Administration Ihor Timoshenko.
Representatives of investing companies believe that Rivne oblast has a significant potential for solar generation and will create new jobs as well as fill local budgets.
