Crimean Tatar activist, Eden Bekirov, who was illegally accused of storing ammunition, will undergo a new forensic medical examination. This was stated by lawyer Oleksii Ladyn, Krym/Realii reports.
To the human rights activist, Bekirov will be sent to the hospital on August 21.
“How reasonable the conclusions of the commission WILL BE only time will show. At least, an independent medical conclusion made by two doctors has been attached to the case, as well as all interested parties have it too. It stated that Eden Bekirov has diseases which prevent his detention,” Oleksii Ladyn said.
Bekirov, during his conversation with lawyers, doubted the forensic medical examination recognizes his state of health as such that does not meet the requirements for detention in a pre-trial detention center.
As The Journalist reported, Eden Bekirov’s daughter reported deterioration of her father’s health.
