Equality March in Kyiv: no one was hurt

On June 23 about 3 thousand people took part in the Equality March in Kyiv, as the first deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine, Serhii Yarovy, reported.

“There were up to three thousand participants of these events,” Yarovy said.

As it is known, the law enforcement authorities did not receive any information about affected March participants in Kyiv.

As Yarovy said, “we have no injuries reported.”

Referring the question of an explosion in the Shevchenko park, Yarovy noted that “someone threw a petard,” as UNIAN reports.

At the same time, his words were confirmed by the director of the Kyiv Pride Public Association Ruslana Panukhnyk.

“There are currently no victims. We had some minor incidents with the first convoy being attacked. But they just broke the banners. We know nothing about the victims. I think nobody was injured”, she said.

As The Journalist reported, a recreation area to appear along the Rusanovska Naberezhnaia in Kyiv.
