The President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda wished President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to work for the benefit of Ukrainian citizens and Ukraine responsibly.
This was reported by the head of the Lithuanian state in Twitter after a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine.
Nauseda congratulated Zelensky with the victory of the “Servant of the People” party in the parliamentary elections and wished “strength to work responsibly for the wellbeing of his people and country.”
“We discussed bilateral relations, regional security and the successful Lithuanian-Ukrainian cooperation in the EU and NATO,” Nauseda emphasized.
The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, congratulated Zelensky on the victory of the Servant of the People party in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada.

“G7 ambassadors welcome the holding of competitive parliamentary elections in Ukraine where fundamental rights and freedoms were respected. We congratulate the CEC on their work.
