Yesterday, June 30, the leaders of the European Union countries gathered to discuss the candidacy of the next president of the European Commission. However, an agreement could not be reached; so, a break was announced in the work of the summit. This is reported by the representative of the President of the European Council Preben Aamann in his Twitter.
“Tusk will hold the bilateral meetings with the EU leaders. After this, the general negotiations will be resumed”, the statement said.
