Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that the EU is working on the fourth package of sanctions against Belarus and is discussing the so-called Navalny’s list – the introduction of restrictions against those involved in the imprisonment of the oppositionist. It is reported by Delfi. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, now there is an agreement on a sub-sanctioned list of people who will fall under the new restrictions.
“The fourth package of sanctions (against Belarus, – ed.) is the European package of sanctions. While there are no clear criteria for how it will develop, my colleagues from the Baltic countries and I are talking about agreeing a list of sanctions for people who will not be able to come to the Baltic countries. At the initial stage, I cannot provide information, discussions are underway, evidence is being collected on the list of these persons,” Landsbergis said.
In addition, the expansion of sanctions against Russia is being prepared.
